Ivelina Kazandjieva

Ivelina Kazandjieva graduated from the Pancho Vladigerov National Music Academy with a Master’s degree in piano specializing in Piano Accompaniment. She has been an active concert performer primarily in chamber music. She has won 13 “Best Piano Accompaniment” prizes at various international competitions.
Ms. Kazandjieva has performed in almost all European countries and also in Japan. She has numerous recordings with Bulgarian performers. Ms. Kazandjieva is also an active pedagogue. For over 40 years, she has been an accompanist and has taught piano accompaniment at the Lyubomir Pipkov Music School and the Pancho Vladigerov National Music Academy. Many of her students work in Bulgaria and abroad, holding prestigious positions as proud representatives of their country.
Ms. Kazandjieva was awarded a Golden Lyre for her pedagogical excellence by the Union of Bulgarian Musicians and Dancers. She also received a Crystal Lyre and a Crystal Necklace by the same organization. On the occasion of her 70th anniversary, the Ministry of Culture awarded Ms. Kazandjieva with a Golden Century Badge and a Seal of Tsar Simeon the Great for her contribution to the development of Bulgarian culture.
