Maria-Elena Sredeva

Maria-Elena Sredeva is a pianist, senior lecturer, and principal accompanist at Pancho Vladigerov National Music Academy. She graduated from the same academy with a Master’s degree in Piano.
Ms. Sredeva has participated in concerts within the following festivals: Artis International Festival, K. Popova Laureate Days, Days of Music at the Balabanov House, and Sofia Music Weeks International Festival. She has performed as accompanist at the international master classes of Prof. А. Sorokov, and Asst. Prof. Т. Kusmetska (Violin), Prof. Hr. Kasmetski (Oboe), Prof. St. Kropfic (Cello) and Prof. В. Kloss (Viola) in Sozopol (2012–2019). Ms. Sredeva has appeared as accompanist and has performed the final winners’ concerts at the following Bulgarian competitions: Svetoslav Obretenov, Nedyalka Simeonova, Dobrin Petkov, Young Virtuosi, Earth and People, Vasko Abadjiev, Lions EMC, Pancho Vladigerov, and at the Fourth Asen Diamandiev Competition in Borovets.
Ms. Sredeva has been awarded diplomas for highly artistic piano accompaniment from the Prof. Nedyalka Simeonova (2015, 2019) and Vasko Abadzhiev (2015) competitions, a Special Prize for accompaniment at the Music and Earth competition (2017, 2019), and a Special Prize for high artistic and creative achievements in accompaniment at the Ninth Academic Violin Competition (2017).
