A legend of violin pedagogy – Prof. Michael Frischenschlager is a long-time teacher with a serious academic career at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, founder of the prestigious Fritz Kreisler Competition and president of the European Association of Teachers of String Instruments in Austria, and until recently vice-president of the World Federation of International Music Competitions.
Prof. Frischenschlager will be a member of the jury of the first International Violin Competition Cantus Firmus, which will be held in Sofia from 9 to 11 May 2025.
