Dear Mr. Dimitrov,

Since I am back in Vienna, I wanted to write you to congratulate you for the great success of your First International Cantus Firmus Violin Competition in Sofia.

I think you can be proud and satisfied. The artistic level of the participants from many countries has been very high. The organisation was perfect. The atmosphere in the jury was very cordial and the musical judgements have been honest and fair.

With this brilliant start of your competition there is now thanks to Cantus Firmus again a great and important international violin competition in Bulgaria.

For me it has been joy and honour to be member of your jury. And it has been a great pleasure to meet you, to hear from your many activities and projects to promote good music in our world of today.

Now I wish you a successful continuation and great future of your International Violin Competition sending you my warmest from Vienna.
